男：まだないよ。あるの？
女：昨日駅で見たよ。
男：へえ、どんな感じの先生？背が高い？
女：背が高くないけど眼鏡をかけていた。
男：そう、美人？
女：美人とはいえないかな。
男：そうか、残念。
女：でも小柄で胸が大きかったよ。

～とはいえない
Can’t really say it’s “….”
Verb short form,noun i-adj, na-adj drop na + とはいえない
あなたの考えはとても実際的とはいえない
Your ideas are hardly practical.
どんなに感謝しても十分とはいえません。
I cannot really thank you enough.
それは必ずしもそうとは言えない。
You can’t always necessarily say that.
Reading Practice
今のアパートは家賃は安いが駅から遠いし、壁が薄いため、
駅前の高層マンションに引っ越すことにした。
このマンションにはジムやスパがあって、
南向きのため日差しも入って家賃はともかく、たいへん気に入っている。
早く引っ越したい。

はともかく (wa tomokaku) can be translated many different ways, such as: anyhow; in any case; whether or not; generally speaking, etc.
値段はともかく、デザインのほうが気に入った。
Nevermind the price, I’m more interested in the design.

The taste is another thing, but the price is good .
