You can use～まえに when you want to say “before doing…”
The patterns is below:
Very dictionary form + mae ni = before doing something.
例文：Examples of sentence (with audio)
出かける前に電話します。 dekakeru mae ni denwa shimasu
I will call you before going out.
食べる前に手を洗います。taberu mae ni te o araimasu
I wash my hands before eating
おいしいから食べます。Oishii kara tabemasu.
Because (it’s) tasty, I will eat.
