Meaning: if; in the case; in the event of
Verb short form + 場合（は） adj + + 場合（は）
Noun + の場合（は）
この病院は日曜と祝日は休みだが、緊急の場合は診てもらえる。
This hospital closes on Sunday and national holiday, but it’s still open in case of emergency.
病気になった場合は、病院へ行ってください。
In the case of you becoming ill, please go to the hospital.
電子レンジの中があつい場合は、使わないほうがいいです。
If the inside of the microwave oven is hot, you should not use it.
台風の場合は、小学校が休みになります。
When it is typhoon, primary schools get closed.
学生の場合は、料金が半額です。

家族は全部で5人ですが、今回の旅行に行くのは
長女と長男とタワポンさんだけです。
宿泊料金の予算は全部で6万円です。

…ことにする/… koto ni suru
You can use “～ことにする” when you want to say “decide to do (something).”.
The patterns is below:

来年タイに戻ることにしている。
I have decided to return to Thailand next year
今晩勉強しないことにしている。
I have decided not to study tonight.
新しい仕事をしたいので、めんせつをうけることにした。

たら/たらどうですか？
You can use “～たらどうですか(tara dou desu ka?)” when you want to make suggestions.
Verb short form past tense ＋ら＋どうですか (why don’t you…, how about…?)
